the McColl Center for Art + Innovation
Scott Gardner was awarded a 9 month residency at the McColl Center for Art + Innovation. His residency was in the Social Justice sphere and focused on developing the AboutFace Project and launching the Blessing Box Campaign. Work completed during the residency including the capturing and editing of stories, the manufacture and assembly of the Blessing Boxes and the Wall of Compassion, publication of the Love Listen Serve book, and multiple community engagement activities including working with children to decorate and distribute bags of food for hungry neighbors in our community.
Scott and the AboutFace team are grateful for the ongoing support of the McColl Center, and honored to have had the opportunity to collaborate with such a wonderful collection of artists from across the globe.
