In partnership with Charlotte Center City Partners we will be presenting the Wall of Compassion to the attendees at the 2017 VISION Awards. This event honors the people in our community who are helping grow Charlotte into a dynamic modern city. We are grateful to have the opportunity to share this project with the “movers and shakers” who can really lead the city in a compassionate direction.
This is our premiere event! Located in the historic Grace AME Zion church building in uptown Charlotte, this event will provide you with an opportunity to hear stories and interact with the Wall of Compassion. Read some of the acts of kindness done during the Blessing Box Campaign, add to the wall, and hear stories from neighbors in Charlotte you wouldn’t normally meet. An evening of compassion and community for the whole family. This event will be a stop on the Uptown Gallery Crawl, so make a night of it and experience Charlotte’s vibrant cultural scene.

Join us as we create works of art celebrating kindness and compassion. 7 different artists are leading workshops where we as a community work side by side to create large works of art made from the thousands of strips of paper that have the acts of kindness written on them. Help make these large public community works of art literally built from kindness! These events are open to the public and are fun for the whole family, so please click on the dates/locations below to sign up!
